The Kingdom of Spain in the EU is probably the best place to live on earth. Shame though on its government. It is run by a small cabal of small minded fools that cannot see beyond their incompetence. The problem is compounded by hopelessness that is beginning to fester among its nice people. Both the old and young are angry. How else would you explain a tent city in the middle of Madrid. 

On the one hand, the ruling political party PSOE has failed in everything measurable, yet continues to stumple in the dark. On the other hand, PP, the opposition, is miserably ineffective with its leader as its handicap. Net result is simply this, the country of Don Quixote, Pablo Picasso and Flamenco, is rudderless in turbulent and raging times.

A leader is a dealer in hope according to Napoleon, yet Zapartero is about to hand over power to Rubalcaba (a little big man who should just go away) rather than to Defence sex goddess Chacon. I just wonder whether these people see beyond tomorrow. The same expensive crap took place in the UK between silly sausage Tony Blair and very dull Gordon Brown (who just like Ex Duchess of York is unable to flog a book). UK Labour party is now relegated to oblivion as most will say, never again. Did I mention John Major? I wonder what happened there.

The reason for the UK rant is because Spain is finding it difficult to speak the universal language and is struggling below the EU average. This has turned into a nice earner for mostly foreign entrepreneurs because English language coaching has become gold dust here. Yet, both the  government and its opposition continue talking at each other as everything else including education continued to suffer (just watch the cheap university system not fit for purpose). Now the people have had enough. The few that have jobs for life are mainly in the political parties as the top IBEX35 companies continue to lay off staff and looking to remain competitive.

The current electoral law in Spain is probably the most ridiculous in the EU (and everyone is laughing at Spain. Its comic leadership and civil servants watch Mr. Bean on youtube, died laughing, yet failed to get the joke). Both PSOE and PP are led by idiots who failed to see why Spain is the joke, the cucumber fiasco is currently doing the rounds.

In my opinion, a bold move by PP would to retire its current blue leadership and embrace pink. They might win the forth coming elections just like the last one but to win the people is the challenge they are refusing to acknowledge. PSOE has a big BO (body odour) issue that even my neighbour, Agatha ruiz de la prada perfumes cannot mask. Corruption in the regions is among many. Its talent, stupid!
